WORLD PORT HACKATHON
1 - 2 SEPTEMBER 2017
Use MarineTraffic data to build the ports of tomorrow
ABOUT

MarineTraffic handles millions of vessel positions and events daily. Our API allows you to integrate our data into your application or web service. You can harness all this data to build innovative applications for real-time, targeted intelligence.

Exclusively for the World Port Hackathon teams, MarineTraffic has arranged to open up a series of powerful API services for the event, enabling you to explore as many routes as possible to tackle the set challenges.

Moreover, 60 calls per hour/service are available from now to help you familiarise with our services. Links to detailed documentation with usage examples and parameters are available below. To get early access to our API services, come and say hi to our #AISdata channel at the worldporthackathon.slack.com community.

You have just a few days to show the world your chops. We are ready to be impressed. Don't forget to sign up at MarineTraffic to see what we are all about.
