EAST MINING COMPANY LIMITED -IS THE LARGEST MINING ENTERPRISE OF SAKHALIN REGION

Optimization and expansion of production is the main vector of development for our Company. Sakhalin Coal Terminal investment project was presented in 2011. It includes the construction of a deep-water port, capable to handle PANAMAX ships with deadweight up to 120 thousand tons and of a conveyor line to supply coals from Solntsevsky coal deposit to the place of loading. Front End Engineering Design is currently conducted together with McKinsey&Co, Royal Haskoning, and Runge Pincock Minarco.

The project has gained support from the President of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin and from the Government of the Russian Federation during the presentation of investment projects for the development of the Russian Far East.
