When vessel is passing Denmark, any owner, nationality, flagetc can use the VISA-FREE CREW CHANGE. Denmark is a convenient hub for crew changes of seamennot holding (or holding) a valid visa. Due to a special agreement between theDanish Shipping cluster and the Danish Immigration Authorities, agents canorganize dis- and embarkation of nationalities not having a valid visa.Providing a large degree of flexibility for the ship owner / manager and, withthe rather short distances in Denmark, from locations like Skaw, Kalundborg andCopenhagen etc to/from the Airports in Copenhagen and Aalborg, we do see an increasingusage of this special set of rules.

On arrival Copenhagen or Aalborg Airports, we have designated driverswaiting to the escort the on-signers to the vessel via the local immigrationoffice. If corona test is required, we will arrange for same. Off-signers willobviously be escorted to their return flights accordingly.
