MACNA first commenced shipping operations in the Red Sea in 1995 and is the Kingdom’s leading private marine transportation company, operating a diverse fleet of High-Speed Catamaran ferries, Roll-On/Roll-Off (RoRo) cargo vessels, Crew Transportation, and emergency response vessels. Since 2006, we have provided continuous passenger, car, and truck services on charter to the Ministry of Transport between the ports of Jazan and Farasan Island in the southern Red Sea, transporting more than 6 million passengers, and a million cars, and close to400,000 trucks without incident.
