However, a few years later, Sodré Foods started operating in the larger distribution business for organizations of great relevance in Brazil. It was then that Sodré Foods became Sodré Distribuição. Among the major organizations that were part of the company`s client list were: the Brazilian Armed Forces (Navy, Army and Air Force) and the Federal University of Maranhão.

In 2018, the first opportunity to operate in the port area arose to serve the company Internacional Marítima nationally known for its port operations, with this contract, Sodre Distribuição started to supply provisions for about thirty vessels. Nowadays, in order to be even more prepared for the international clients, the company`s name was changed to Sodre Marine Supply.
