Vessel Livadia was ballasting from Petropavlovsk-K to Vladivostok and most probably approached Iturup Island trying to shelter from typhoon Wipha which hit the area on Oct 17.2013. Vessel ran aground in Dobroye Nachalo Bay southeast coast of Iturup. Vessel is high and dry on the coast no danger to the crew which remains on board waiting for salvage tug Svetlomor-3-IMO 8606484
