Description : Near the Entrance to In the Port Melbourne Channel, it is the main radio call-in point for ships arrivng and departing the Port of Melbourne very useful to monitoring the ETA and progress of ship arrivals, vessels are required to give 30minutes notice from Fawkner Beacona and tim of passing the beacon to Melbourne VTS on VHF Channel 12 and port services are coordinated around vessel ETA Fawkner
