Description : The lighthouse was inhabited and is located in the southern part of Marton Garca Island, located in the river of La Plata. It is an Argentine exclave surrounded by Uruguayan waters. It is at the confluence of Ro Uruguay with Ro de la Plata. Lighthouse was declared a National Historic Monument by Decree 1741/2011.
