Predictive Destinations

The Predictive Destination Areas API enables you to retrieve predictions for the port and geographical area a vessel is most likely to travel to next (after its current destination, if underway). Predictions are based on a number of factors, including past movements of the specific vessel, past movements of similar vessels managed by the same Management company, as well as movements of vessels of the specific market/ship class.

The top 5 most probable destination areas are provided in each API response, with a probability score both for the port and for the larger geographical area, enabling you to assign your own confidence rating to the prediction.

The service is available for all Commercial Vessels.
