Voyage Forecasts service enables you to retrieve current voyage information including position, and expended/calculated ETA for a specific vessel or for a MarineTraffic fleet.
You have the option to receive extended information such as:
- the forecasted route points of the vessel
- load condition
- distance travelled/to go

In order to provide a more cost effective solution, in most of our Data Services (API) we provide the user option to choose between a simple and an extended response (and in some cases also a full response). The difference between the responses is the fields that the call returns in each case. The position data is updated every two minutes. Note that this does not necessarily mean that there will be a new position for each vessel every two minutes.
