Voyage Forecasts

Voyage Forecasts service enables you to retrieve current voyage information including position, and expended/calculated ETA for a specific vessel or for a MarineTraffic fleet.

You have the option to receive extended information such as:

  • the forecasted route points of the vessel
  • load condition
  • distance travelled/to go

Simple Response (terrestrial-AIS): 4 Credits per record

If your need is expected to be continuous then a subscription based charge is better. If you require data on an ad hoc basis, then an On Demand (Credits) subcription might be more cost-effective.
In order to provide a more cost effective solution, in most of our Data Services (API) we provide the user option to choose between a simple and an extended response (and in some cases also a full response). The difference between the responses is the fields that the call returns in each case. The position data is updated every two minutes. Note that this does not necessarily mean that there will be a new position for each vessel every two minutes.

Once you remove a vessel
To take full advantage of this service, you will need to extend your Fleet to at least the size you require for the API tracking. Take a look at the Fleet Extension options or our Subscription Plans.
