Περιγραφή : Ponta da Carneira Lighthouse is a Fiberglass structure. It was originally built in 1965 with an Iron structure, but with time it started degradation. In 2002 The crew of Lighthouse keepers from Albernaz changed the structure for a fiber glass structure. And substituted the Optic with a Tideland ML 300 mm. The lighthouse is still active, and its light coverage the North Coast o Corvo island. Is controlled by telemetry to The keepers in Albernaz Lighthouse.
