Summer is here and Monaco couldn’t be skipped out of this gallery. Monte-Carlo’s location is luxuriously beautiful, situated between French medieval villages and the Alps. The world-famous Monte Carlo Casino is one of the top attractions of the area along with many other points of interest.
This is THE A, a 110-metre long passenger ship, sailing under the flag of the Netherlands. This ship was spotted in Medvedov, Slovakia, crossing the Danube river. Did you know the Danube is Europe’s second longest river?
Sailing under the Liberian flag, EVERGREEN is a cargo ship of 400 meters long. The photo was taken in Kaohsiung port in southern Taiwan. Kaohsiung is a massive port city known to be the home of many skyscrapers, such as the 248 meters tall Tuntex Sky Tower, and its diversity of parks.
This motor tanker is PIZ ALBRIS. She was built in 1991 and is sailing under the flag of Switzerland. Her deadweight is 4500 tonnes and her gross tonnage is 2400. The photo is taken in IJ river in Amsterdam by William Hill. The IJ is a body of water, formerly a bay, in the Dutch province of North Holland. Its name comes from an obsolete Dutch word meaning “water”.
SAGITTA is a container ship, built in 2009. She is sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands and is 228,5 meters long. Her gross tonnage is 36087 and her deadweight is 42614 tonnes. SAGITTA was spotted in Piraeus, the largest port in Greece and one of the largest in Europe.
