Marine Gallery January 2020

Welcome to the Marine Gallery of January 2020, a monthly segment on our blog featuring the five best pictures of every month, selected by members of the MarineTraffic Photo Moderators. These could include images of vessels, ports or lighthouses from around the world.

On the 28th of January, EEMS RIVER, a general cargo vessel built in 2012, was captured sailing in wintery Rotterdam Europoort, under the flag of Netherlands. Her length is 89.92 metres and her deadweight is 4066 tonnes.

SHAWNA LUCILLE is a fishing vessel whose picture was taken on the 30th of January, 2020, in shiny Shem Creek. She is 20 metres long and sails under the flag of the USA.

She is an inland bunkership, found and captured at Niehl Port, in Cologne. BUNKER SERVICE 15 is 43.5 metres long and sails under the flag of Germany.

This special craft, MARE VERDE was spotted in Rio Valdivia, in Southern Chile in January, 2020. She is 53.8 metres long, her gross tonnage is 1067 and sails under the flag of Chile.
