Can real-time analytics & forecasting transform shipping?

On 27 October at 5:00 PM (Athens), MarineTraffic and a host of industry experts will discuss how real-time analytics and forecasting can transform the shipping industry.

Shipping experts from classification society RINA, Finnish technology provider Wärtsilä, chartering technology firm Signal Maritime and the survival and safety solutions provider Survitec Group will analyse whether seismic technological shifts have the potential to really transform the maritime industry.

The global big data and analytics market is now a huge business. The industry is projected to be worth an eye-watering $512.04 billion by 2026, with an annual growth rate of 14.8 per cent.

Thanks to the growth in data from shipping movements, onboard equipment, ports and other commercial data, the maritime analytics market, is also experiencing a boom. It is estimated that it will record a similarly impressive annual growth 16.8 per cent over the next five years.

During this in-depth and interactive webinar, MarineTraffic and our guests will focus on the power of maritime forecasts and data analytics.

The session will be moderated by Argyris Stasinakis, Executive Partner at MarineTraffic.
