3D scanning offers high accuracy measurements to create a very detailed and accurate 3D point cloud model in just a few minutes. Multiple scans are taken from various positions in order to capture sufficient coverage around equipment. The scans are then registered together to bring them all into the same coordinate system, thus creating a single point cloud environment that can be viewed for spatial awareness.
